What makes your site so different from the dozens of other “tradie” sites online?

Great question. Well, for a start it’s not just a “tradies” site. Customers can search for all kinds of businesses, products and services. And the most important thing is that from a business owner’s perspective, the great thing about “What I Need” is that whether you have a small part-time business that you use as a bit of a hobby or a large multi-million dollar company, you can list your business on our site…for free!

So I can list my business on What I Need, for FREE? What’s the catch?

Nope, there’s no catch. No strings attached. No hidden costs and no minimum sign-up periods. You can continue to use our site as long as you like and never pay a cent.

But you have paid packages as well

That’s right, we do. For those businesses that want to add a few extra features we have a couple of packages geared to helping give them some extra promotion. And even if you want to take advantage of some of those extra features in our premium packages the small monthly amounts are still such fantastic value compared to any of the other sites.

Surely there has to be more to it?

Nope, and don’t call me Shirley. You don’t believe me? Well, check it out for yourself. Sign up to any of the other “tradie” sites, hell, even include the other purely advertising sites. Compare how much they charge for listing your business and what you get for your money with what you can get here, even without spending a cent. Explore the limitations, pushy sales techniques and expensive fees for yourself.

Some of those sites look pretty good. Can you give some specifics that set your site apart?

Sure. Obviously we’ve touched on cost. Many of them charge quite large amounts to list your business and use their services. Not only are there excessive monthly fees, but many of them also have extra charges like “pay per lead” amounts. Plenty have minimum sign-up periods. Also, as part of their business model (sometimes exclusively) many act as a middle man (taking a cut) of any sales between customers and businesses. There’s none of that with What I Need.

But what if I’m getting great results with one of the other sites?
